BB Carpentry is a traditional building company based in Weston Super Mare, Somerset. The business is run and managed by Bruno Barradas, a qualified tradesman who has gained experience in the building and carpentry trade.
This means that drawings can be approved and submitted to the appropriate authorities, our team consists of: Plumbers, Plasterers, Electricians, Bricklayers and Painters.

His work is regularly done on time, on budget and anything made offsite fits perfectly- which show that his measuring and manufacturing skills are top notch. I can thoroughly recommend his work.
Knowing Mr Barradas for 4 years now for several building projects, in both supervisory positions and having him work directly for me. Mr Barradas is primarily employed as a carpenter but has a variety of other skills including roofing, tiling and decorating. On projects he has taken on himself he is more than competent in organising other trades on site to finish the job to a high standard.
Work included:
- Refurbishment of 3 existing georgian windows, mending casements and replacing rotten sills
Constructing all first floor timber stud walls including plaster boarding and hanging doors - First fix roofing
- Repairing of two driveway gates
- Installation of metal stud work to all external walls including insulation and plaster boarding.
- Installation of new staircase including spindles and hand rails
- Constructing shower trays and bath panels
- Laying down new engineered oak flooring
- Fitting new kitchen
- Skirting and architraves
- Decoration

Knowing Bruno over 2 years on various projects, through out this period his work has always been of an exceptionally high standard. The scale of work ranged from cutting-in roofs and making staircases, to simply hanging doors, and he has always done so effortlessly and I would endorse Bruno without hesitation; testament to the quality of his carpentry is the frequency of times he does work for friends of his previous customers. Furthermore, he works well as part of a team and is always polite and patient with customers.
We would like it to be known that Bruno Barradas has made a wardrobe with storage to our exact requirements. The workmanship has been good and Bruno has just got on with the work. We are delighted with the result and will have him back again to fit out our study.
Mr B Barradas has been doing all my carpentry work in my farmhouse during the last 4 months. This has included laying of wooden floors, erecting stud walls, putting in new doors, custom fitted kitchen, all the skirting’s, dado rails and tongue and groove, all the carpentry repairs. He even tiled my bathroom, put up a shower and fitted waste pipes.
His work is of a high standard and he shows initiative and understanding of his clients brief adding his own advice and expertise. I would highly recommend Mr Barradas for any future projects he undertakes.
